Originally designed by Alvar Aalto in 1947, Armchair 45 returns to the collection to bring warmth and refinement to contemporary interiors. A blend of crafted details elevates the chair’s lightweight design, all made from natural materials.

There are several options available for the armrests: they can be adorned with piped leather or rattan winding to add further depth to the tactile experience; a leather flat wrap can be chosen when a smooth and soft touch is desired; or the armrest can simply be bare birch when simplicity is the order of the day.

The Finnish birch frame is upholstered in quilted leather for utmost comfort, or natural linen webbings for more informal and relaxed settings.
