Develius Mellow

The Develius and Develius Mellow sofas, both designed by Edward van Vliet, share a modular and versatile foundation but differ in their approach to comfort and design details.

Both sofas offer highly customizable systems, allowing configurations ranging from a pouf to a 1-6 seater sofa, a corner sofa, or a chaise longue. They provide flexibility in setup, with metal brackets used to connect the modules. In terms of materials, both models feature a wooden frame, no-sag springs, and high-resilience (HR) foam padding, ensuring durability and long-lasting comfort. Available in a variety of fabrics or customer-supplied materials, these sofas cater to individual tastes and interior needs. Additionally, both are tested for strength, durability, and safety to EN 16139 Level 2 standards for extreme use.

Develius

Despite their shared modularity and craftsmanship, the two sofas differ significantly in comfort and design focus. Develius strikes a balance between comfort and aesthetic form, offering a clean, structured look with customizable options like low or high armrests. Its intuitive design keeps a sleek, defined shape while maintaining comfort.

Develius Mellow

On the other hand, Develius Mellow takes lounging to the next level, emphasizing even greater softness and a relaxed feel. Its ultra-soft seating is enhanced by a duvet of shredded foam and polyester wadding, offering a plush, enveloping experience. One of its standout features is the removable outer fabric, making it easier to clean and maintain, while the original Develius does not have this feature.
