Ercol was founded in 1920 by Italian designer Lucian Ercolani in High Wycombe, the heart of English furniture making. From the outset, his vision was to create furniture that was both relevant and honest, with design and craftsmanship at the core of his company’s ethos. Over a century later, Ercol remains a family-owned business, now led by Lucian’s great-grandson, who continues to uphold these values.
Design has always been central to Ercol. The creations evolve to reflect contemporary living, crafted by a talented in-house design team and skilled furniture technicians. The company also collaborates with leading UK designers to produce distinctive pieces, all made with integrity and built to last.
